to all investors...why are we investing in properties when there is no power supply....

over 30 new towers completed lie empty and cannot be rented due to no power supply...

the whole of the emirates city will if complete say by 2012 will have no power supply connection...

the new coal power plant has not been finalised.... at best there is a 4 year construction programme for the plant.... and utility works for building connections thats another year an maybe 2...

even if they started a plant start of 2010 you are looking at power for emirates city 2015...

construction is my profession... and with the climate in uae...buildings with no pwer or air conditioning ...say emirates city 2012 uonwards.... the buildings will deteriorate very quickly....

investors.... beware!!!!!!!!

ajman marina project will be ok as they know this crisis and hence are building their own power plant for their project.....

emirates city will be like a ghost town 2012..... half built and empty...
